Microsoft Will Pay You!
As part of the Microsoft Reward, Microsoft will pay you to use its own browser. Ditching Google Chrome and Bing for the new Windows 10 browser. This browser is called Edge. The company are claiming that their browser is faster, more efficient and just altogether better in every way. So it looks like Firefox and Chrome have got some competition? It looks that way. However, not many people switched to the new browser. This is why Microsoft have introduced the element of payment. In a way to get more users Microsoft will pay you.
It’s a points based rewards system, if you use Edge and are signed up to Microsoft rewards you will receive points for using the browser. Of course you have to actually use the browser, you can’t just keep the browser open and hope to get the points. Oh no, Microsoft have got this covered. They will track the movement of your mouse in order to know when you are using the browser. You also must have Bing set as your default homepage to get the rewards.
The points can be traded in for vouchers or credit for places like Starbucks, Amazon and Skype. With this added incentive, what are the advantages of using edge?
- Stylus – You can draw or write on webpages with the stylus, whether it’s for fun or taking notes for work it’s a pretty cool feature.
- Faster – It is faster than other browser, easier to search in the address bar and you can add extensions to block ads or translate websites.
- Netflix – Unlike other browsers Edge allows users to increase the resolution on your Netflix account far more than any other browser.
Do you think you’ll be using the new browser? Either way, Edge is very good and could be the breakthrough for a new browser hit and those points are always a bonus.
