Who do you work for?
With the country still gripped in recession and more doom and gloom on the way, most of us in work are just happy to have a job and millions of others would like to be so lucky. But who do you really work for well officially it is your employer but leading up to the 29th of May we were all employed by the public sector or should I say one particular public sector head honcho a Mr Tax Man. The 29th of May is the day we stop paying our taxes or should I say all the money you earned in the first 5 months of the year is the amount of tax the average employee pays per year so in theory the money you now earn is your own.
Well in theory with soaring fuel prices, utility bills and high inflation the average employee must labour on until late July. Housing and household bills will take another 82 days to pay off and another 17 days is needed to pay off the average debts.
Is it any wonder that the shops get so busy towards the end of the year I thought it was just down to Christmas, well at least Mr Tax Man will have a big Turkey this year.
